How are services provided?
Tutoring is exclusively online in one student to one tutor session. Each session is scheduled for one hour in length.
My Story
Teaching is a passion that I love. I enjoy it so much I've never considered it a job. I have taught grades 3 - 5, 6 - 8, 9-12 in a school system setting. I also taught the GED in a state prison system. I have taught for an online company for 8 years before it folded and as an independent tutor for ten years.
My degree is in special education K-12 and elementary education K-6. I have a masters in teacher leadership.
I love the online platform because my students are relaxed and comfortable in their own home. It also allows the student to be tutored in a comfortable and safe place which is usually their bedroom. This would never happen with an at-home tutoring.
Who is it for?
Special Education students, those falling behind, and homeschoolers. Exceptions can be made on a case by case.
What subjects can you help with my student?
Reading (phonics based), math (up to algebra), grammar, and writing.
